Here’s how to do it:

  • Take an old (but stiff) business card and hold it up to your eye to measure its length. Make a slight mark at the inner and outer corners of your eye, as well as where you want your liner to stop.
  • Sketch your desired eyeliner shape on the back of the card, taking care to connect the slight marks. Be sure to use a pencil so that you can easily erase any mistakes. Hold it up to your eye again to make sure you’re satisfied with the result.
  • Cut directly on the line to create your personalized stencil.

Easy-peasy, right? Oh, and you don’t have to only use it with liquid liner—use it with eyeshadow too! Go subtle with smoke gray or chocolate brown, or try more fun, vibrant colors, like teal or violet.

Tell me—do you think you’ll try to make one?
